‘Career Compass 360°’ workshop held at the University of Rajshahi on 22 February, organized by the Rajshahi University Business Club (RUBC). The workshop aimed to guide students in career planning and skill development, helping them gain insights into different professional fields.
The event focused on career opportunities in the corporate, higher education, and development sectors. Participants received practical guidance on essential job market skills, scholarship opportunities, and ways to build careers that contribute to social change.
Key speakers at the workshop included Sadman Sadik, popular YouTuber and online educator; Asif Khaled, founder president of Rajshahi Business Club and lecturer at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University; Lubna Ahmed, senior associate, recruitment and youth engagement, Teach for Bangladesh; and Mst Ayesha Akhi and Md Ariful Islam, senior consultants, international affairs, Let’s Know. They shared their experiences and provided valuable career advice, helping students understand the realities of different career paths.
Participants expressed their appreciation for the workshop, stating that it gave them a clear roadmap for career planning and essential guidance for their future.
RUBC President Hasibul Hasan Pranto said their goal was to provide students with a clear understanding of career planning, which they successfully achieved through this workshop. He added that RUBC will continue organizing such initiatives in the future.
The workshop provided career guidance and helped students develop new skills, preparing them for their future professional journeys.
