- The Institute of Social Welfare and Research at the University of Dhaka is inviting applications for the Professional Master’s in Social Welfare with specialisation in:
- Clinical Social Work (CSW)
- Victimology and Restorative Justice (VRJ)
- Gerontology and Geriatric Welfare (GGW)
- Industrial Relations and Labour Studies (IRLS)
- Course Duration: 1 year 6 months (3 semesters).
- Eligibility:
- Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 or second class in bachelor’s/master’s degree.
- Degree from any faculty in Social Sciences, Law, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Geography and Environment, Philosophy, Peace and Conflict Studies, Anthropology, Women and Gender Studies, Journalism, International Relations, or any relevant discipline.
- Government and non-government employees with at least two years’ work experience in relevant fields can apply.
- No age restrictions apply.

- Collect and submit the application form from the Institute of Social Welfare and Research’s New Academic Building.
- Application deadline: 21 May 2025 (from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm).
- Application Fee:
- BDT 1,000 for the application form.
- BDT 5,000 for admission test fee (total BDT 6,000).
