BRAC invites applications for Young Professionals Programme 2025

BRAC is inviting applications for its Young Professionals Programme (YPP), designed to nurture the next generation of purpose-driven leaders in international development. The immersive programme offers young professionals the opportunity to engage directly with pressing social challenges and gain practical experience through fieldwork within communities.
Participants will develop their leadership and problem-solving abilities by contributing to grassroots initiatives that support individuals in unlocking their potential with dignity and hope.
Departments
Selected candidates will be placed in one of several departments based on academic background and career interests. These include the Ultra-Poor Graduation Programme, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Integrated Development Programme, Road Safety Programme, Aarong, Microfinance Programme, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Procurement, Communications, Social Innovation Lab, and the Health Programme.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have secured a first class or a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale in all academic examinations. Degree requirements vary by department. For the Ultra-Poor Graduation Programme, candidates from any discipline are eligible. The WASH Programme requires a BSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering. For the Integrated Development Programme, a bachelor’s in Agriculture, Fisheries, Veterinary Science, or Animal Husbandry is required.
The Road Safety Programme seeks graduates in Social Science or Business Administration. Aarong is looking for candidates with degrees in Engineering, BBA, Development Studies, Economics, or Management. The Microfinance Programme requires a postgraduate degree in Business Studies, such as an MBA or a degree in Economics.
Finance and Accounting applicants must have a postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, while the Human Resources department seeks candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resource Management. For Procurement, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, or a related field is required.
The Communications department requires a bachelor’s or master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism or a relevant field. The Social Innovation Lab is open to those with degrees in Business Administration, Anthropology, or Social Sciences, and the Health Programme is open to MBBS graduates or those with a postgraduate degree in Social Science.
Successful candidates will be placed across BRAC’s operational regions in Bangladesh, based on programme requirements and field placements.
