BUFT Business Club to launch inaugural Corporate Fest 2025

The BUFT Business Club is set to organise the first-ever “BUFT Corporate Fest 2025,” offering a platform for students to engage with real-world business challenges across diverse sectors. The event is scheduled to be held over three rounds from 4 to 11 August on the BUFT campus.

This flagship competition is tailored to simulate dynamic corporate environments and test participants’ ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and lead under pressure. Participants will work on industry-specific scenarios from sectors including ready-made garments, telecommunications, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, software, banking, print media, hospitality, management, and real estate.

The first round, titled “Corporate Meeting & Crisis Point Analysis,” will be held on 4 August. Teams will draw their sectors or topics by lottery and attend a grooming session to help refine their approaches.

The second round, “Corporate Interview,” will take place on 7 August, where participants must present and defend their strategies before a judging panel. This round will assess confidence, clarity of thought, and communication skills.

The final round, “Critical Analysis Finale,” is scheduled for 11 August. Here, teams will dive deep into complex business problems, analyse the issues, and present their insights as if in a boardroom setting.

Teams must consist of four to five members. The champion team will receive a cash prize of BDT 5,000 along with opportunities for leadership development and exposure to real-world business thinking.

Beyond the competition, participants will receive mentorship, feedback from professionals, and networking opportunities with peers and industry experts.
