Position: Executive – Sales Support / Product Development

Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities

Sales & MIS Reporting:

  • Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Excel and Power BI.
  • Track and report on sales by airline, route, segment, and agency.
  • Maintain dashboards to visualize performance for internal decision-makers.
  • Provide comparative sales reports for Key Account Managers (KAMs) to support account reviews.
  • Assist in preparing monthly profit & loss (P&L) statements, reconciling revenue and loss factors, and analyzing discrepancies.
  • Track and validate incentive (PLB) performance and collaborate with finance and airline partners for disbursement.

Channel Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor B2B and API partner distribution channels to assess performance and revenue opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address underperformance or operational challenges.

Product Development & Commercial Strategy:

  • Contribute to the development of new travel products and offerings based on market demand and competitor insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote new products.
  • Support pricing model development to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Assist in annual and monthly revenue forecasting and market planning.
  • Liaise with sales to gather insights and help build integrated sales strategies.

System Operations Oversight:

  • Oversee admin panel workflows related to ticketing, such as reissues, refunds, and booking errors.
  • Coordinate with the tech team to troubleshoot GDS/portal errors and booking failures.
  • Support agency partners with system-related queries via email, phone, or messaging platforms.
  • Ensure consistent process quality by monitoring system operations regularly.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting:

  • Support the development of channel-wise pricing strategies, especially in preparation for future B2C initiatives.
  • Create and update revenue and segment-based forecasting models for decision-making.

Qualifications Required: Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, CSE, Data Analytics, Finance, or relevant field.

Job Location: Dhaka (Banani)

Experience: 1 to 2 years, The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline,Group of Companies, Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, spot trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excel & Power BI Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards) and working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization.
  • Travel Industry Knowledge: Understanding of airline GDS systems, OTA operations, and B2B/B2C travel distribution.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication in Bangla and English, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve operational issues independently and proactively.
  • Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in handling reports, pricing, and audits.
  • Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working across departments such as sales, finance, tech, and marketing.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with booking systems, admin panels, and troubleshooting system issues.
