Responsibilities & Context
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely execution of the MEAL action plan and produce MEAL results
- Support in developing and implementing a robust MEAL instrument and system to ensure tracking of project/programme results at different levels (outputs, outcomes, and impact)
- Support in developing a detailed MEAL plan and MEAL action plan for the project and ensure execution accordingly
- Work with the line manager to provide alerts to the respective project team on corrective actions required to meet the timeline, including flagging operational issues and risks
- Work with the MEAL team to analyse and present quantitative and qualitative data, to produce MEAL reports and recommendations for the improvement of programme quality
- Visit the project area to cross-check and verify programme data and information using standard tools and methodologies
- Manage the implementation of surveys, assessments, and evaluations for projects, and meet the Tdh standards
- Support in the recruitment and provide training to data enumerators for baseline and supervise and manage them for quality data collection
- Support the team in storing all hard data in the possession of Tdh securely
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic and interactive dashboards to track process monitoring data across project implementation cycles
- Integrate real-time data from process monitoring tools (e.g., SurveyCTO) into the dashboard to support evidence-based decision-making
- Collect, compile, and analyse data for MEAL and donor reporting on time
- Work and collaborate with the team to disseminate MEAL results among the beneficiaries and stakeholders
- Participate in MEAL and programme discussions, events, sessions, meetings, and seminars for capacity enhancement and contribute to the development of the MEAL system and projects
- Uphold data protection protocol at all stages of information management, particularly for data sharing
Requirements
Education
- Master of Social Science (MSS)
- Master’s in social science, statistics, or a relevant discipline
Experience
- At least 2 years
- Applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
Additional Requirements
Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field of MEAL/M&E/Research with national or international organisations, particularly in projects related to child protection, livelihood, access to justice, and migration
- Skilled in using computer software and statistical packages – quantitative (SPSS/STATA, KoBo/SurveyCTO, Excel, Power BI) and qualitative (MaxQDA) for data analysis
- Skilled in designing, adapting, and deploying a variety of participatory data collection tools (e.g., survey, FGD, KII, IDI, case study, MSC, good practices) and ensuring their effective use in the field
- Experience in managing and supervising data enumerators for the collection of data at field level using a mobile phone/tablet-based app
- Languages: Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding both Bangla and English is mandatory
