Position: Programme Associate, Energy Finance
The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading think tank in Bangladesh, invites applications from promising professionals interested in pursuing a career in development finance and programme operations. The selected candidate will work with the CPD Power and Energy Studies team. Job responsibilities include assisting in financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments for development and energy-related projects. The candidate will support budget preparation, financial reporting, and data analysis, and contribute to events on development finance.
Requirements
Education: The ideal candidate should have a degree in Finance or other relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.60 from a reputed university.
Additional Requirements
Having a keen and demonstrated interest in issues related to macroeconomic policy, data concerns, global economic issues, financial analysis and modeling, investment banking, risk management, and project finance and energy financing issues will be beneficial for the candidate to carry out the responsibilities. Previous experiences on the above-mentioned qualifications and skills will be considered as added advantages for the candidates. The job demands an ability to work under pressure and with creativity and initiative.
Compensation & Other Benefits
A gross salary starting from Taka 35,000 per month will be offered to the successful candidate, along with other admissible benefits. The actual compensation package will be based on an assessment of the candidate`s qualifications and suitability, including experience.
