Position: Officer/Senior Principal Officer
Department: Recovery Department
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recovery strategy for retail portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations.
- Monitor NPIs, analyse delinquency trends, and recommend preventive measures.
- Direct the recovery team in legal and non-legal strategies.
- Negotiate with clients for repayment or restructuring.
- Prepare MIS, dashboards, and portfolio reports.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
- Coach and mentor team members to develop capability.
- Maintain documentation, confidentiality, and ethical practices.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in any discipline.
- 10–12 years’ experience in recovery or portfolio monitoring in banks or NBFIs.
- Strong knowledge of credit operations, recovery laws, and Bangladesh Bank circulars.
- Proven leadership in managing NPIs and achieving recovery targets.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, data visualisation, and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
