Heifer International Bangladesh is seeking a self-motivated, result-oriented individual with high integrity and accountability to join as Intern – Finance.

Responsibilities and Deliverables
(including approximate percentage effort)

File Management

  • Update various files, including voucher, vendor, agreement, policy, and audit files.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of information within each file.

Expense Top Sheet Preparation

  • Assist in preparing expense top sheets for advance settlements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of expense-related information.

Procurement Documentation

  • Assist in maintaining and updating procurement documentation.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure proper documentation compliance.

General Finance Support

  • Provide general support to the Finance team as required.
  • Assist in scanning documents, filing, documentation, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Daily Task Support

  • Work closely with the Accounts team in completing daily tasks.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate completion of assigned responsibilities.

Supervisory Requests

  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in contributing to various tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance or Accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research.

Additional Requirements: Age up to 30 years.

Duration: 6 months.

Monthly Salary: BDT 20,000 (gross) per month.

Job Location: Heifer International Bangladesh Country Office, Dhaka.
