Post Graduate Diploma in Knitwear Industry Management (PGD-KIM) | BRAC Institute of Governance and Development
Government of Bangladesh is implementing Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) with an aim to develop a workforce equipped with contemporary technical skills and knowledge through facilitating linkage between leading academic institutes and industries. Under SEIP, the Executive Development Centre has been established at BIGD, BRAC University to train mid-level industry managers and young professionals by offering Post Graduate Diploma in Knitwear Industry Management (PGD-KIM).
Program Schedule
- Total program duration: 9 months
- Class schedule: Friday (day-long), Sunday (evening) and Wednesday (evening)
- Industry attachment: 3 months
Eligibility
- Professionals: Active and talented mid and high-level managers with at least 3 years of working experience in knitwear industries.
- Fresh graduates: A bachelor’s degree, preferably in technical or business disciplines with minimum CGPA 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or a second class from a recognized public or private university.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 or 2nd Class in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent separately (including additional subject).
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 in O-Levels in five subjects and A-Levels in two subjects according to the scale (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 & E=1). Only one E is acceptable.
- Females are highly encouraged to apply
- GED not eligible for admission
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to sit for the written test. Final selection will be done on basis of marks obtained from the written test, previous work experience, and viva-voce.
