This initiative supports meritorious students from Class VI to Undergraduate levels who have been seriously injured in accidents and face financial constraints.

Eligible students may receive between 10,000 and 50,000 BDT based on the severity of their injuries.

Eligibility and academic criteria

To qualify, applicants must provide proof of academic achievement: a minimum of 60% marks in the previous class, a GPA of 3.50 (out of 5.00) for SSC/HSC levels, or a GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) for Undergraduate levels. Financial eligibility is restricted to children of government or autonomous body employees in grades 13 to 20, or those whose guardians’ annual income is less than 2 lakh BDT.

Additionally, the accident must have occurred within one year of the circular’s publication, verified by a medical certificate from a Civil Surgeon, a government hospital doctor, or an Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer.

Required documentation

Applicants must upload digital copies of the student’s birth registration certificate, parents’ National ID cards, a recent photograph, and a signature. A testimonial from the head of the educational institution or department is also mandatory.

For fund disbursement, a scanned copy of a cheque leaf or bank statement must be provided to verify the online bank account details of the student or their parents.

Application and payment process

All applications must be submitted online via the e-Medical Grant Management System at https://www.eservice.pmeat.gov.bd/medical/ by 30 April 2026 (11:59 PM).

As the process is entirely digital, no hard copies should be sent to the Trust. The grant will be transferred directly to the provided bank account; however, the Trust has cautioned that it will not re-send funds if the initial transfer fails due to incorrect or incomplete banking information.

Note for institutions:

If a student cannot find their institution’s name in the online system, the head of the institution is requested to contact the Managing Director of the Trust via email or post with the relevant EIIN and necessary details.
