Health & Safety Engineer | SNOWTEX Group

SNOWTEX Outerwear Ltd. is seeking a proactive and dedicated 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 & 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 to ensure a safe and healthy working environment across factory operations and construction projects. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Job Location: Dhamrai, Dhaka

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily site safety inspections and monitor HSE compliance.
* Support Site Safety Supervisors in implementing safety control measures.
* Inspect lifting equipment and power tools before use and on a scheduled basis.
* Conduct HSE induction training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
* Perform Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and ensure timely closure of safety action items.
* Maintain HSE documentation, including inspection reports, meeting minutes, Near Miss reports, and incident registers.
* Investigate incidents and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
* Develop and update HSE policies, procedures, and Construction Safety SOPs.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company HSE requirements.
* Participate in emergency preparedness activities and internal HSE audits.

Qualifications:
* BSc in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Industrial/Environmental) or related discipline.
* NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA certification will be an advantage.

Experience:
* 1-5 years of HSE experience in garments, textiles, manufacturing, or construction projects.
