Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a ESG & Sustainability Consultant, based in Dhaka. The role involves conducting environmental assessments, developing and implementing sustainability strategies, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local and global environmental standards. In addition, the ESG & Sustainability Consultant will create reports and presentations, manage client relationships, and contribute to achieving sustainability goals for various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of ESG and Sustainability Reports aligned with recognized reporting frameworks and standards.
- Prepare and review Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) reports in accordance with regulatory and international standards.
- Evaluate environmental compliance with regulations and international environmental standards and support environmental audits.
- Conduct environmental baseline studies, environmental risk assessments, and design environmental study methodologies.
- Develop and supervise Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and Site-Specific Environmental Management Plans (SSEMP) and oversee environmental monitoring programs.
- Conduct carbon footprint assessments, analyze GHG emissions, and develop waste management and sustainability strategies.
- Prepare environmental consultancy reports and coordinate with clients, regulatory authorities, and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members and support environmental analysis, modelling, and project implementation.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering
- Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science
- Skills Required: Project Management, Research and Development, Environmental Management System, Waste Management, EIA, Environmental Audit, sustainable development, Reporting and Documentation
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms,Consulting Firms,Research Organization,Third Party Auditor (Quality, Health, Environment, Compliance
Additional Requirements
- Relevant training or practical experience in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
- Hands-on experience in environmental project work, particularly EIA and ESIA preparation/review.
- Hands-on experience in Carbon Footprint Assessment and GHG emissions assessment/quantification.
Job Location: Dhaka (Gulshan)
Salary: Tk. 40000 – 50000 (Monthly)
