Commencement fee 

A one-time fee (AU$16,000 – AU$23,500) paid upon accepting an offer. This fee is deducted from your first semester tuition fees.

Scholarship recipients may be exempt from this fee (details in offer letter).

Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship (VCIS)

• This scholarship is designed to reward academic excellence and attract high performing students to study at Macquarie University and is open all year around.
• Description: Merit-based scholarship for international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students (excluding Graduate Certificates and Global MBA).
• Value: Up to AUD$10,000 towards tuition fees (one-time award).

Eligibility:

• Full-time international student
• Commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree
• Minimum ATAR of 85 for undergraduate applications
• Minimum WAM equivalent of 65 for postgraduate applications
• Valid offer letter to study at Macquarie University

Application:

• Complete an online application form
• Enter student number from offer letter
• Mention “VCIS” in the Scholarship Name field
