The MSc in Data Science (Professional) at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology is a one-year, 40-credit programme. The semester fee is Tk. 35,000, plus a registration fee of approximately Tk. 6,000.

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year or 3-year) or equivalent.
  • CGPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00, or a second class equivalent.
  • Candidates must have a foundational knowledge of mathematics and a science background at the SSC and HSC levels.
  • Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics can apply with a certificate of appearance.

  • Written Test: August 30, 2025, at 9:30 AM
  • Written Test Result: September 1, 2025
  • Viva Voce: September 2, 2025 (for those who pass the written test)
  • Merit List Publication: September 3, 2025

  • Class Starts: September 14, 2025
