Applications are invited from intending candidates for admission into the one year “Professional Masters in Japanese Studies” (Session : January -2023). This program offers extensive course on Japan’s politics, economy, society, culture and literature. The functional competence in Japanese Language will also be provided. Successful completion of this program will enable the students for MPhil/ PhD in Japanese Studies at home and aboard and provide employment opportunity in Japanese companies and organizations. The application criteria and procedures are given below:

Applicants having at least 2nd Class/CGPA-2.50 (Out of 4) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognized institution may apply. Applicants having any third division/class in academic life cannot apply.

The Applicants will have to collect the prescribed application form from the office of the Studies (DJS) on payment of TK 1,000.00 (One Thousand only) during the working days between 9 am to 4 pm.The last date of submission of application is 27 December, 2022.

Admission Test will be held on 30 December, 2022 from 10 am-11 am at the Social Science Faculty Building of University of Dhaka.

The selection of students will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and Viva-voce.
