AIUB Games 2025 officially commenced on Thursday, 4 December 2025, with a vibrant inauguration ceremony at the American International University–Bangladesh campus.

The event was inaugurated by Ms Nadia Anwar, Chairman and Founder Member of the Board of Trustees of AIUB, who delivered the opening address.

The ceremony was attended by Prof Dr Manzur H Khan, Proctor of AIUB; Major (Retd) Faiz-Ul-Bari Rajon, Deputy Director (Administration); Mahmud Hassan, Deputy Director (Procurement and Purchase); and Md Joynal Abedin, Coordinator of the Office of Sports. Students, faculty members, and administrative officers were also present, creating an atmosphere of excitement and unity.

This year’s AIUB Games features 11 indoor and outdoor competitive segments, with participation from nearly 3,000 students across various departments. The event reflects the university’s vibrant culture and underscores AIUB’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive campus environment.

Organised by the Office of Sports with support from the Office of Student Affairs, AIUB Games 2025 brings together students, faculty, and officials in a shared spirit of collaboration and excellence, highlighting the university’s focus on holistic development both inside and outside the classroom.
