Jahangirnagar University Career Club (JUCC) held an exciting ice-breaking ceremony and Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 52nd batch of general members. The event took place in the Seminar Room of the Zahir Raihan Auditorium, with enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty.
The event began at 2:00 PM featuring a series of engaging, ice-breaking activities and insightful speeches. A highlight was the speech by special guest Samid Razzak, Vice President of a multinational corporation and Advisor at the Youth Empowerment Foundation and SR Corporation. Esteemed advisors Prof. Dr. Mohammad Alamgir Kabir (Professor, Department of Statistics and Data Science) and Prof. Bashir Ahmed (Professor, Department of Government & Politics) also shared valuable insights.
The day concluded with skill development sessions focused on communication, teamwork, and leadership. The AGM reviewed past achievements and outlined future plans. A new 31-member committee was announced, with Anupom Modak Juton appointed as President and Monnour Hossain Masum as General Secretary of the 9th Executive Committee. Other key members include Vice Presidents Mehedi Hasan (Admin) and Mohammad Saiful Islam (Operation), Assistant General Secretary Md Hedaet Rahman, Organizing Secretary Shubhra Roy Puja, Finance Secretary Shariyar Sajid, Corporate Affairs Secretary Abdullah Al Noman, IT Secretary Intekhab Fardin Turja, HR Secretary MD Aminul Islam, Learning & Development Secretary MD Shahar Shital, Communication & Publication Secretary Abdullah Tahmid Tashin, and Executive Members MD Musaddik Hussain, Zahidul Islam, and Shafin Al Hasan.
Anupom Modak Juton said, ‘JUCC is dedicated to enhancing students’ skills and career prospects. Our goal is to help students develop professional skills, communication abilities, and leadership qualities. We plan to organize new workshops, seminars, industry visits, and competitions to provide real-world experience and insights.’
Monnour Hossain Masum said, ‘As General Secretary, I aim to maintain harmony among club members and organize skill development sessions. Our goal is to help students acquire essential skills for the job market.’
Established on February 6, 2014, the Jahangirnagar University Career Club conducts various skill development sessions, prepares students for the job market, and provides guidance for pursuing higher education abroad.
