The Hult Prize at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) 2025–26 concluded with its grand finale on 17 February, marking the end of months of innovation, mentoring and competitive evaluation.

Presented by SBAC Bank PLC, in association with Asiatic MCL, BUETian Entrepreneurs Network and the Buet Entrepreneurship Development Club, the programme brought together student teams developing business solutions to social and environmental challenges.

Following multiple rounds of screening and pitching, Team Hydra won the champion title. Team Atlas finished first runner-up, while Team SusTire became second runner-up.

The grand finale also featured finalists Gear On, MycoMatters, Team Chaya, Team Code Red and Team Nirapotta. Organisers said the ventures were assessed based on innovation, feasibility and potential impact.

Organisers said the competition reflects Buet’s growing engagement in entrepreneurship initiatives and its focus on nurturing practical, impact-oriented ideas among students. As part of the global Hult Prize movement, the platform encourages young entrepreneurs to develop scalable solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
