The Department of Research & Development (R&D) of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) successfully organised the Research Excellence Award Ceremony 2024 yesterday (14 July) in Seminar Room No.101 at the university campus.

The ceremony honoured outstanding faculty members for their exceptional contributions to research and innovation. Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT), BUFT, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Mr. Muzaffar U. Siddique, Founder Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor, were present as Special Guests.

The programme was attended by all Deans, Heads of Departments, Section Heads, and a large number of faculty members, reflecting the university’s strong commitment to academic excellence and research advancement. The event aimed to inspire a culture of impactful research within the academic community.
