BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) celebrated its 14th Founding Anniversary with a Doa and Iftar Mahfil at its Multipurpose Hall on 4 March 2026, bringing together distinguished guests, faculty members and staff during the holy month of Ramadan.

The programme featured a cake-cutting ceremony led by Mr Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, alongside Mr Muzaffar U. Siddique, Founder Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Prof. Dr Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Vice Chancellor (Designate), attended the event along with the Acting Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members and staff.

The gathering reaffirmed BUFT’s commitment to academic excellence in fashion, textile, arts, business and technology education. A special prayer was offered for the continued prosperity of the university, the welfare of the nation and global peace.

The event concluded with a communal Iftar, strengthening unity and fellowship among attendees.
