BUP holds BUPIMUN 2025 with delegates from home and abroad

The Bangladesh University of Professionals Global Affairs Council (BUPGAC) successfully organised the Bangladesh University of Professionals International Model United Nations (BUPIMUN) 2025 from 28 to 30 August in Dhaka, bringing together delegates from home and abroad to engage in dynamic diplomatic simulations.

The three-day flagship event featured sessions across multiple UN and international committees, including the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), and the Munich Security Council (MSC). Delegates deliberated on pressing global challenges, negotiated resolutions, and demonstrated skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking.

The conference commenced with an inaugural ceremony attended by distinguished guests, diplomats, academicians, and student leaders. Over the following days, the committees witnessed rigorous debates reflecting real-world complexities, with delegates striving to present innovative solutions.

BUPIMUN 2025 concluded with a grand closing ceremony on 30 August, where outstanding delegates were recognised with awards for their performances. The event reinforced BUP’s commitment to fostering youth leadership, critical thinking, and cross-cultural understanding through international engagement.
