Zabeer Zarif Akhter, a student from Bangladesh, has been officially selected to participate in the 2025 CERN-Solvay Student Camp, one of the world’s most competitive and prestigious science programmes.

Zabeer’s application stood out among 2,500 candidates from 120 countries. He will join the fifth CERN-Solvay Student Camp, scheduled to be held from 19 to 25 April 2026 at CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland.

During the week-long programme, participants will attend lectures by CERN scientists and engineers, take part in hands-on experiments, and explore cutting-edge research in physics and engineering.

This achievement marks a proud moment for Bangladesh as Zabeer prepares to represent the country on an international scientific stage.
