BRAC University’s Murshidul Bhuiyan Honoured as APAC Insider’s Best Documentary CEO

Murshidul Alam Bhuiyan, founder of Team Bertho, has been named Best Life Experiences Documentary CEO 2025 by APAC Insider. This honour is part of the fourth annual APAC CEO of the Year Awards, recognising leaders across the Asia-Pacific for resilience, innovation, and transformative leadership.

APAC Insider’s awards spotlight executives tackling challenges such as digital transformation, sustainability, and cultural diversity. Murshidul’s recognition highlights his strategic vision and impact in youth-led activism and storytelling.

Since founding Team Bertho in 2016, he has led a global movement to share real human stories. The organisation has reached over 650,000 people in 81 countries, using narratives to promote empathy, understanding, and peace.

A recipient of The Diana Award, Asia’s Top 10 Young Talents, and the UNICEF Meena Media Award, Murshidul continues to champion social change through initiatives like Project Amra and Chaa with Taa. He also serves in leadership roles with Million Peacemakers and AwareNow Media.
