SpeakUp

Comilla University is set to launch a unique personal development initiative titled ‘SpeakUp’ One-to-One Learning Session, aimed at enhancing students’ communication and soft skills. The programme is being organised by the Skill Development Club of the university.

Scheduled to take place on Friday, 11 July, at the Comilla University campus, the session will provide students with hands-on training in public speaking, hosting, and presentation techniques. Unlike conventional workshops, this session will offer individualised attention, analysing each participant’s strengths and weaknesses to provide personalised guidance and constructive solutions.

According to the organisers, many students struggle with self-expression and often face frustration due to their inability to showcase their talents effectively. The SpeakUp session aims to build confidence, improve presentation strategies, and equip students with the essential soft skills required for future career success.

Hasin Mahtab Mahin, General Secretary of the Skill Development Club, said, “We are moving beyond traditional club activities to introduce a transformative one-to-one learning experience. Our aim is to help students find answers to every question they have and support them in overcoming individual challenges.”

The session is open to students from all departments of the university. Organisers hope that SpeakUp will serve as an empowering platform where students can truly express themselves and gain hands-on experience in personal growth.
