The Marketing Society for Leadership Proliferation – MSLP, under the Department of Marketing at the University of Chittagong, successfully hosted the grand finale of “JCI Chittagong Presents The Next Lead Initiative: Grand Pitch, powered by Mentors’ Chittagong” at the CVASU Auditorium. The finale marked the conclusion of an exclusive month-long mentorship program designed to nurture emerging leadership and entrepreneurial talent.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries. The Chief Guest was Professor Dr. Tayub Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Chittagong. The convener of the event was Rafi Minhaz, President of MSLP. Guests of honor included Professor Dr. Mohammed Alamgir, Chairman of the Department of Marketing; Professor Dr. Sagib Kumar Ghosh; and Professor Md. Bazlur Rahman, Assistant Proctor, University of Chittagong. Special guests included Shaan Shahed, Executive Vice President of JCI Bangladesh; Nahid Moin, Executive Vice President of JCI Chittagong; Junayed Rahat, EVP of JCI Chittagong; along with members of the JCI Chittagong Board of Directors.

Prior to this competition, MSLP organized 5 different workshops on Cracking business cases, Communication skills, Cracking MNC MTO, Research essentials, and AI for career excellence under this exclusive month-long mentorship program. 

The competition final unfolded in two rounds. The first featured a live pitch competition in which participants presented innovative solutions to a case study. From this, the top five finalists advanced to the final stage: a mock live interview session. Both rounds were adjudicated by Arif Iftekhar, Trade Finance Specialist at Euro Exim Bank, and Kaiser Hamid Farhad, Business Head – Chittagong at Wagely Bangladesh Limited.

The event concluded with an award ceremony announcing the winners:

1st Runner-up: Md. Nahin Sarker

2nd Runner-up: Debopom Ghosh

Following the announcements, the Chief Guest presented prizes to the winners and handed tokens of honor to the event’s partners: Title Sponsor JCI Chittagong, Powered-by Sponsor Mentors’ Chittagong, Associate Partner Easy Baking CTG, and Bronze Sponsor Al Emir. The program was hosted by Nasatun Miskat Nabery and Tanjif Hasan.
