The Department of Television, Film and Photography (TFP), University of Dhaka, hosted a youth-oriented event titled Tarunner chokhe July. The event was jointly organised by the TFP Photography Club and Bahas – TFP Debating Club.

The programme featured two main segments: an inter-batch debate competition and a photography contest and exhibition. A key highlight was the inauguration of the department’s new photo exhibition wall, where selected student photographs will be displayed regularly.

The debate competition focused on the July Uprising and was adjudicated by Zubair Hossain, President of the Dhaka University Debating Society, and Mehedi Hasan, Vice President. Winners were presented with awards by the judges and club moderator Khandakar Rubyat Mursalin.

In the photography segment, winning participants received crests and certificates from Shaolin Shaon, moderator of the Photography Club and one of the contest judges.

The event saw active participation from students, while faculty members commended the initiative and praised the smooth organisation of the day’s activities.
