The Dhaka University Writers’ Hub, a student-oriented platform, successfully hosted the sixth edition of its flagship event, “Unleash Your True Potential,” on August 2, 2025, at the TSC Auditorium of the University of Dhaka.
The day-long event brought together students for a series of inspirational and career-focused sessions, offering practical advice, personal stories, and professional guidance across various sectors.

The opening session featured Abu Yusuf Md Rashedul Amin, General Manager of Employer Branding at bKash, who conducted an interactive workshop on CV writing and interview skills. Drawing on his corporate experience, he advised students to focus on skill development rather than chasing trends. “Prioritise developing your skills, focus on becoming truly capable, and companies will come looking for you,” he said.

The second session, titled “United Nations as a Career Choice,” was led by Md. Abdul Quayyum, Head of Communication at UNDP Bangladesh. Drawing from his professional journey, he encouraged students to explore opportunities in the development sector. “To thrive in development, you need the three Hs—heart, head, and hand—combined with emotional intelligence and genuine empathy,” he remarked.
In the third session, Nazmus Sakib, CEO, and Abdullah Al Mamun, Head of Learning Management & Operations at Data Solution 360, introduced the field of data science to students from both technical and non-technical backgrounds. Their session, ‘Why and How to Start a Career in Data Science,’ emphasized the accessibility of data-driven careers and the value of a curious mindset.
The final session featured an interactive panel discussion titled Choosing Your Career Path, with speakers covering topics including academic research, government jobs, entrepreneurship, freelancing, and corporate careers. The panel included Md Mohiuddin Bhuiyan and Md Zahirul Islam Sajib, Directors at Enterprise 360 Limited; Md Golam Habib Rabbani, Assistant Director at Bangladesh Bank; Shahedul Hasan, former Army Captain and data analyst; and Md Mehedi Hasan, Assistant Director of the National Human Rights Commission.
Each session concluded with an engaging Q&A, allowing students to interact directly with speakers and gain further insights.
The event was supported by Sunquick (beverage partner), Pran (snacks partner), and Rasoi Catering (food partner). TSG Education served as the study abroad partner, while TBS Graduates supported as the youth engagement partner. The Business Standard, Infogram, and Jhalmuri News were media partners, with TBS as the official print and online media partner.
Unleash Your True Potential 6.0 was not just a platform for career exploration but a celebration of student ambition and learning. Dhaka University Writers’ Hub continues to inspire young minds to dream big and pursue informed, meaningful career path.
