The Department of Business Administration at East West University organised a panel discussion titled “Harnessing Information Systems for Business in Bangladesh,” aimed at exploring the evolving role of information technology in modern business practices. The event featured industry leaders who shared their insights on how data-driven strategies and intelligent systems are reshaping business operations across sectors.

The panel included Md Yousup Faruqu, Country Lead at Microsoft Bangladesh; Reaz Uddin Khan, Head of Bangladesh at ADA Data AI Solutions Ltd; Masum Uddin Khan, CEO of Crystal Grains Ltd (New Zealand Dairy); and Ishtiaque Shahriar, Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Assets and Communications at bKash Ltd. They discussed how digital tools are enabling greater operational efficiency, improved customer engagement, and strategic agility within the Bangladeshi business environment.

The discussion also served as an opportunity for students and faculty to engage with corporate leaders and gain practical insights into the intersection of business and technology. The event highlighted the significance of equipping future professionals with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in a digitally transformed economy.
