BAIUST to host Business Week 2026 on 6–7 January
Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology will host BAIUST Business Week 2026 on 6–7 January 2026, aiming to create a platform for innovation, entrepreneurship and professional development among students and young professionals.
Organised by the BAIUST Business Club, the two-day programme is expected to be one of the largest business-focused events at the university. It will feature a prize pool of more than Tk60,000 and is projected to attract over 10,000 participants and visitors, offering opportunities for learning, competition and networking.
The event will include a range of competitive and interactive segments, including an SME fair showcasing small and medium enterprises and their innovations; BIZZ Quest, a business strategy and problem-solving challenge; a quiz competition testing general knowledge and business acumen; an ad-making contest focused on creativity and marketing; and Idea Hunt, a platform for innovative and disruptive business concepts.
Other segments include Mr & Ms Professional, highlighting professionalism and confidence; Capture the Moment, a photography and creative visual art competition; and Power Talk, featuring motivational and insight-driven sessions by industry professionals.
The BAIUST Business Club said it has consistently worked to promote entrepreneurial skills, business knowledge and professional growth within the university community. Business Week 2026, it added, will provide participants with an opportunity to showcase their talents, explore innovative ideas and engage with industry leaders.
The organisers said the programme aims to encourage students to develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, preparing them for future roles in business and industry.
