BTEMIC (BUFT Textile Engineering Management and Innovation Club) is organising one of the major national events of the year — the BUFT National Textile Management Fair 2025. The event aims to strengthen knowledge-sharing, foster innovation, and enhance industry–academia collaboration to help develop a skilled future workforce for Bangladesh’s textile sector.

This year, more than fifty-five institutions are participating, including over twenty-five textile universities and institutes and more than thirty science-focused colleges, with over 7,000 students joining from across the country.

Event highlights

Textile Talk
Industry experts and professionals will share insights on the future of the textile sector, emerging innovations, and career opportunities.

Brain Battle
A competitive quiz for both college and university students, covering textile knowledge, general awareness, and problem-solving skills.

Innovation Hub
An exhibition showcasing smart material–based projects, sustainability solutions, and research prototypes developed by young innovators.

Prizes worth Tk90,000 will be awarded. Each participant will receive a certificate, event T-shirt, writing pad, pen, event bag, and lunch.

The national platform aims to build students’ academic confidence, deepen their industry knowledge, and create valuable networking opportunities with leading textile professionals.
