Epitome 3.0 celebrates HR, youth innovation

The Grand Finale of Honda presents Epitome 3.0, powered by Chef’s Avenue and brought to you by Miniso, culminated in a gala night focused on recognizing outstanding achievements in HR strategy. The event was hosted by the North South University Human Resources Club (NSU HR Club).
This event concluded the country’s prestigious intra-Dhaka HR strategic case competition, recognizing the creativity and excellence of Bangladesh’s emerging HR leaders. Grameenphone partnered strategically to support this platform.
The gala night brought together six finalist teams, NSU faculty, industry judges, and corporate guests. Finalist presentations were judged by a panel of leading professionals, including M Sabbir Jahangir, HR Director, Perfetti Van Melle; Sharina Tofazzal Pinky, Head of Strategic HR Partner-Product, Grameenphone; Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman, FCA, Chief Marketing Officer, Bangladesh Honda Private Limited; and Mohammad Asifur Rahman, Area Senior Brand Manager, British American Tobacco Ltd.
Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of NSU, attended as Chief Guest, while Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdur Rob Khan and Faculty Advisor Syed Imamuzzaman also delivered remarks. They commended the finalists’ innovative solutions and highlighted the importance of nurturing youth-driven leadership in shaping Bangladesh’s HR future.
Special guests Shah Muhammad Rahman (Honda), Jason Yan (Miniso), and representatives from Perfetti Van Melle and Grameenphone emphasized the need for workplace culture, exemplary organizational practices, and youth innovation in developing the country’s workforce.
A total of Tk 1.2 lakh was awarded, with Team Arctic Wolves as champions, Team Misalignment as 1st runners-up, and Team Broke Buddies as 2nd runners-up. Other finalist teams also received prizes, certificates, and sponsor recognition.
NSU HR Club extended gratitude to associate sponsors Murukkaz and Bikku Bikku, as well as Danish, Bombay Sweets, Perfetti Van Melle, Coffee And, Cookoly, Kaler Kontho, The Business Standard, and Channel 24 for their roles in supporting refreshments, participant rewards, and media coverage, which helped make the event possible.
