The Urban Development Directorate, under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, is organising the “Sustainable Urban Planning: Young Minds’ Perspectives” Competition 2025 for the first time in the country.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be enrolled in a recognised university in Bangladesh.
- Eligibility is based on academic discipline:
- Theme 1: Urban and Regional/Rural Planning – Open to students from Urban and Regional/Rural Planning departments.
- Theme 2: Urban Design – Open to students from either Urban and Regional/Rural Planning or Architecture departments.

- Revised Deadline for Proposal Submission: 25 March 2025
- Tentative Competition Date: 22 May 2025
Additional Information
- Participants will not be entitled to any travel or daily allowance.
- All decisions made by the authorities regarding the competition shall be considered final.
