Jahangirnagar University is set to host its annual celebration, “FinFest 2025”, this December. The event, now in its fourth edition, is being organised by the Jahangirnagar University Finance and Banking Club under the Department of Finance and Banking. This year’s festival, titled “Sailor presents FinFest 2025”, powered by Akij Drinking Water, is expected to attract students, professionals and enthusiasts from across the campus. Spanning four days, the festival will feature a line-up of signature events aimed at learning, engagement and community participation.

The festival will begin on 9 December with Job Fair 2025, where students will have the opportunity to interact with leading companies, engage with industry professionals and explore potential career opportunities. The job fair will run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, followed by a panel discussion from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the seminar room of the Zahir Raihan Auditorium.

On 10 December, the second day of the festival, Biztigation, a strategic business case and problem-solving competition, will challenge participants to apply critical thinking, collaborate effectively and present innovative solutions.

The third day, 12 December, will feature the FinFest 10.5K Run, which includes categories such as the 10.5K, 7.25K and Kids’ Run (750m). The event aims to promote physical fitness, campus enthusiasm and a strong sense of community among participants.

FinFest 2025 will conclude on 13 December with a Cultural Night featuring a rally, flash mob, alumni reunion and a grand concert. The closing night will bring together students, alumni and guests in a culminating celebration of festivity and vibrant campus spirit.
