Justice Half Marathon 2025 to take place in Sylhet this September

The Army IBA Hiking & Trekking Club has announced the upcoming Justice Half Marathon 2025, set to be held on 26 September 2025 at the Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Sylhet. Centred on the theme “Run for Justice,” the event aims to foster health, fitness, discipline, and a sense of community among participants.
The marathon is expected to draw more than a thousand runners from across Bangladesh. It will feature four race categories: a 21-kilometre half marathon open to all with an entry fee of Tk1,250; a 10-kilometre open run with an entry fee of Tk1,050; a 10-kilometre student run for Tk800; and a one-kilometre fun run for children with an entry fee of Tk600.
All races will start and finish at notable landmarks in Sylhet, with the main route beginning at the AIBA campus, passing Humayun Rashid Chattar, and looping back to the starting point.
Registered participants will receive an official event T-shirt, finisher medal, digital certificate, BIB number, and optional gifts. Additional facilities will include bus transportation, hydration points, medical support, warm-up and cool-down zones, and designated dressing areas.
“This is more than just a marathon. It is a celebration of movement, youth, and justice,” said Hasib Hasan Moon, President of the Army IBA Hiking & Trekking Club. “We invite students, athletes, families, and citizens to join this national-level event.”
Registration is currently open at justicehalfmarathon.com/registration. The event will be held entirely in person, with no virtual participation categories available.
