The Hult Prize at Varendra University Grand Finale and Prize Giving Ceremony was held on 25 January, 2026 at Varendra University in Rajshahi, marking the culmination of months of innovation, mentorship and entrepreneurial competition among students.

Organised by Hult Prize at Varendra University, the student-led campus chapter of the global Hult Prize Foundation, the event showcased the top 10 finalist teams, who presented impact-driven business solutions addressing real-world challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The grand finale brought together university authorities, advisors, judges, sponsors and guests, providing participants with a platform to demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, leadership and collaborative problem-solving in a competitive environment.

The final round presentations were evaluated by a distinguished judges’ panel comprising HR Head of Rahimafrooz Group Rifat Sultana; Assistant Professor of the Department of Banking and Insurance at the University of Rajshahi and Lead Mentor of the University Innovation Hub Programme Md Sagar Rana; and Managing Director of Edu Wings Hub Md Imran A Sagor. The judges assessed the teams on innovation, feasibility, sustainability and social impact, offering constructive feedback to the participants.

At the prize-giving ceremony, Team Ukil emerged as the champion, followed by Team Bioloop as the first runner-up and Team Kijuna as the second runner-up.

The event underscored the role of youth-led innovation in addressing global challenges and reinforced the mission of the Hult Prize to empower the next generation of changemakers. Organisers expressed appreciation to all participants, mentors, judges, sponsors, volunteers and committee members for their contributions in making the initiative engaging and impactful.
