The grand finale of BU RADiO’s flagship intra-university quiz competition, Mind Spark Season 1, took place on 18 September at the University of Barishal’s Kirtonkhola Hall, marking a significant milestone in fostering students’ intellect, decision-making skills and competitive spirit.

The event drew an enthusiastic response, with over 500 students participating in the opening round. Of these, 20 advanced to the finale’s buzzer and quiz rounds. Following an intense contest, the winners were:

• 2nd Place: Nomrota Chakraborty (Department of Statistics)
• 3rd Place: Mahathir Md Abhi (Department of Law)

The top three winners received exclusive gift hampers from Oraimo, Madhupok and Bonoful. Participants ranked fourth to tenth were awarded hampers from Oraimo, while those placed eleventh to twentieth received hampers from Ispahani Tea. All participants were presented with certificates, and special gifts were given to female contestants from Fresh Anonna.

The finale attracted more than 500 students and over 200 invited guests. Attendees included faculty advisers and representatives from partner brands. The event was marked by vibrant audience participation and received wide regional and national media coverage. Oraimo was highlighted as the official Gift Partner, alongside other supporting partners.

Reflecting on the success, the organisers stated, “Mind Spark Season 1 has set a new standard of excellence in promoting intellectual engagement and a vibrant competitive spirit among our university’s brightest minds. We eagerly anticipate an even more spectacular next season.”
