“Empowering Youth to Build a Greener Tomorrow,” inspired by this theme, the East West University Environmental & Social Club hosted a cycle rally named Green Ride 2025 on 5 July, 2025.

Around 200 cyclists participated in this event. The event was inaugurated at 8.30 am by Ismat Shereen, Head of CCC and Department of Student Welfare. She motivates the cyclists as well as organisers of the club to devote themselves to such nation- and nature-serving activities.

After distributing the t-shirts and necessary instructions, the ride started at 9am from the Aftabnagar gate. The rally was moving through some important points, including Karwan Bazar, Bijay Sarani, Mohakhali and ended at 11.30am returning to the East West University campus. Then, a group photo was taken. The event closed with the distribution of food items, water and souvenirs among the cyclists at 12pm. The club believes in the commitment of the participants to actively lead environmental action and make a positive impact on society, following the tagline of the event, “Ride with Youth, Change the World.”
