Hult prize at IUB Workshop at Grameenphone

Hult Prize at IUB organised Innovation for Impact: A Startup Workshop for its finalists at the headquarters of Grameenphone, marking the first exclusive industry-hosted workshop of its kind in Bangladesh for Hult Prize finalists.

The workshop was held in partnership with Grameenphone, with the support of the HRM Department of Independent University, Bangladesh, and was designed exclusively for the finalists of Hult Prize at IUB.

The session featured Tazriba Khurshid, Head of Digital Inclusion at Grameenphone, and Ashfaque Hossain, Employer Brand Expert at Grameenphone. The speakers shared in-depth insights on innovation for impact, start-up readiness and the development of sustainable business models within a real-world corporate context.

A key highlight of the workshop was the detailed, hands-on feedback provided to each finalist team. The speakers thoroughly reviewed the start-up concepts and offered strategic guidance on refining value propositions, strengthening scalability and ensuring long-term impact. The interactive format enabled participants to sharpen their ideas, address challenges and gain actionable direction as they progressed in the Hult Prize competition.

This pioneering collaboration reflects a growing commitment to bridging academia and industry, equipping young innovators with practical knowledge and mentorship to transform ideas into impactful ventures.
