IUB GSG Department hosts academic session on phenomenological research approach
An engaging academic session on “How to Use a Phenomenological Approach in Qualitative Research” was conducted by the Department of Global Studies and Governance (GSG) at Independent University Bangladesh under the course GSG304: Research Methodology (Qualitative and Quantitative).
The session, led by Touhida Tasnim, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Social Relations at East West University, provided participants with valuable insights into phenomenological inquiry in qualitative research and its application in understanding lived experiences.
Through interactive discussion, the session encouraged critical engagement with research methodologies and helped deepen students’ analytical perspectives.
The Department expressed its sincere appreciation to the speaker and participants for contributing to a productive and meaningful academic exchange.
