A team from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) participated in the 2nd Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, Bangladesh Qualifying Rounds 2026, organised by Hearth Bangladesh. The competition was held at IUB from 5 to 7 February 2026.

The IUB team consisted of oralists Tasnuba Tasnim Anita and Asfi Fatima, along with researcher Zakaria Islam.

The team delivered a strong performance at the competition. Tasnuba Tasnim Anita received the Best Mooter Award, while Asfi Fatima ranked second among 60 oralists.

The achievement has brought recognition to IUB and highlighted the strong advocacy skills of its law students.
