Jahangirnagar University marketing students host “New Product Fair 2025”

The Department of Marketing at Jahangirnagar University successfully organised the New Product Fair 2025, a one-day marketing plan activation programme, on Sunday, 7 September 2025, from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Munni Chottor, in front of the Faculty of Business Studies.
The event, arranged by the 12th Batch students as part of their MKT 401: Marketing Management course, aimed to bridge academic learning with practical marketing application. Under the guidance of Dr Md Kashedul Wahab Tuhin, Professor of Marketing, students presented innovative product ideas and demonstrated how marketing strategies can be applied in real-world contexts.
A key attraction was the setup of seven unique stalls, each featuring creative product concepts. The stalls provided students with hands-on marketing experience, allowing them to test ideas with live audiences and apply classroom strategies in practice.
The programme was attended by eminent academicians and industry leaders, including Prof Abu Sayef Md Muntaquimul Bari Chowdhuri, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies; Dr Md Ariful Hoque, Chairman of the Department of Marketing; Dr Shariful Islam Dulu, Managing Director and CEO of MARKTALE Bangladesh Limited and General Secretary of the Marketers’ Institute of Bangladesh; and Prof Mizanur Rahman Majumdar, PhD, Director of Training and Development at the School of Sales Management. Their presence provided encouragement and valuable industry insight to the participating students.
The New Product Fair 2025 showcased creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation. The seven stalls served as a platform for knowledge exchange, skill development, and entrepreneurial inspiration, reflecting the academic depth and practical orientation of the Department of Marketing at Jahangirnagar University.
