The Leading University Research Society (LURS) has successfully concluded its 2nd Student Research Conference 2025 (LURSSRC-2025), bringing together over 250 participants from universities across Bangladesh to showcase research and exchange ideas.

Centred on the theme “Building a Sustainable World: Tackling Barriers and Exploring New Ideas,” the conference encouraged young scholars to address global challenges and propose innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

The event featured poster and abstract presentations, an inauguration, and a closing and prize-giving ceremony. Chief Guest Dr Syed Ragib Ali, founder and chairman of the Board of Trustees of Leading University, and Special Guest Syed Abdul Hye, vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees, attended the conference, with Professor Dr Mohammed Taj Uddin, vice-chancellor of Leading University, serving as chief patron.

The presence of deans, faculty members, and distinguished guests added to the academic stature of the event. The conference was supported by sponsors Smart Technologies and Shapnik Construction and Consultancy.
