Yesterday (14 July) the orientation sessions were held for four faculties: Agriculture, Business Studies, Veterinary and Animal Science, and Computer Science and Engineering, at Auditorium-1 and Auditorium-2.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Enamul Haque paid tribute to the martyrs of the 2024 student movement, and reminded students of their sacrifices.
Freshers were presented with welcome kits including university-branded items, academic calendars, and class routines.
Orientation programmes for the remaining faculties — Engineering, Social Science and Humanities, Science, and Fisheries — will be held today (15 July).
