The private university unit of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has postponed its planned protest scheduled for today, 27 February.

Convener MJH Manju announced the decision on his verified Facebook page, urging students to remain patient in the national interest.

The protesters, all private university students, were demanding proper representation in the newly formed student organisation, alleging that Dhaka University students had been prioritised.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad has called an emergency press conference at Dhaka University’s Madhur Canteen this afternoon to address the ongoing situation.
