Professor Dr Mirza Hasanuzzaman, a distinguished Professor of Agronomy at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), has been formally inducted as a fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) during its 17th General Conference, held in Brazil in 2025.
This prestigious award came with the bestowal of a special crest representing his exceptional academic achievement, innovative studies and broad-based contributions in global agricultural and environmental sciences.
Prof. Hasanuzzaman has added a new glory to his extraordinary academic accomplishments and global scientific research influence by being listed in the top 2% of scientists in the whole world. His outstanding research in the areas of plant stress physiology, crop science and sustainable agriculture has been widely recognised with respect and admiration by researchers worldwide.
