Project Altair — the official Mars rover team of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) — has emerged as the champion of the Mars Rover Challenge segment at AUST Rover Challenge 2.0, organised by Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology.

Project Altair has been actively participating in numerous international rover competitions such as IRC, ERC, IRDC, etc., over the past few years. Just last month, the team took part in the final round of the University Rover Challenge held in Utah, USA, where they secured 18th place among 25 finalist teams from around the world.
