State University of Bangladesh (SUB) organised a seminar titled ‘Effectiveness of AI in Education’ at its campus, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence in modern teaching and learning.

The keynote address was delivered by Badrul H Khan, an internationally recognised educationist, author, and e-learning expert, and founder of Modern E-Learning.

The seminar was chaired by Md Akhter Hossain Khan, Vice-Chancellor of State University of Bangladesh. The event was attended by the registrar, deans of various faculties, chairpersons of departments, faculty members, and nearly one hundred students.

In his keynote presentation, Badrul H Khan discussed the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in enhancing learning outcomes, improving learner engagement, and shaping the future of technology-driven education. He said that, when applied thoughtfully, AI can make education more personalised, inclusive, and impactful.

Addressing the programme, the vice-chancellor said the integration of AI and emerging technologies in higher education is essential in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He reaffirmed SUB’s commitment to innovation, quality education, and preparing students for future challenges through technology-enabled learning.

The seminar generated strong interest among faculty members and students. Through interactive discussions, practical examples, and a question-and-answer session, participants gained insights into real-world applications of AI in education. Faculty members also exchanged views on the effective use of technology in modern teaching practices.
