Changing the world starts from changing your surroundings. If I were to change one thing, I would like to make sure animal safety and social perception towards stray animals. Cutting to the chase, having pet animals has become a trend lately. However, unfortunately, only the good-looking ones end up being a pet. In course of petting a stray cat, I have come across so many realizations that how misguided people can be. People ship animal videos on the internet, take part in protests against animal cruelty, which is honestly fine up until you find the same person gets stink out over how dirty and hideous-looking the stray dog is that is literally living under her/his building. People are ready to “buy” animals in exchange for money where thousands of stray animals suffer from disease and hunger. My message to those people will be that, do not mix yourself as an animal lover if you only feel for how cute one looks. Spray generosity to those animals that actually vulnerable.
