10 key guidelines for National University admission

The first-year undergraduate (Honours) admission test for the 2024–25 academic session under the National University will take place on 31 May, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, at district-wise selected college centres.10 guidelines were issued by the acting dean of the university’s School of Undergraduate Studies, reports Prothom Alo.
The guidelines are:
1. Two sets of question papers have been prepared for each stream (Humanities, Science, and Business Studies). Candidates from the same stream must not receive the same question set if seated together. Invigilators must ensure this.
2. Students must sit for the test in the subject stream mentioned on their admit card, and invigilators must ensure that question papers are distributed accordingly.
3. Candidates must correctly fill in the appropriate subject stream and set code on the OMR sheet.
4. Invigilators must give instructions before the exam starts to ensure students fill the OMR correctly.
5. Students must not write mobile numbers or any coded markings on the OMR. Such scripts will be considered invalid.
6. If any OMR contains suspicious marks, it must be labelled ‘Reported’ and sent to the university in a separate envelope.
7. Invigilators must verify each student’s photograph and admit card, and collect signatures. Any mismatch must be reported to the principal or centre secretary.
8. Proxy candidates are strictly prohibited from taking the test.9. Mobile phones, calculators, or any electronic devices are not allowed inside the exam hall.
10. Late entry is not allowed beyond 15 minutes after the exam begins.
